Visiting Rennes – Useful tips

On foot, following a guide, with your mobile phone or MP3 player, by boat, by bike or by gyropod – you can visit Rennes in a host of different ways. Choose the method that suits you best and set off to discover Rennes and its Metropolitan district at your own pace!

On foot

With the Tourist Information Centre’s qualified guides for:

  • A general tour, 
  • A themed tour of the city (parks and gardens, modern architecture, courtyards and staircases, etc.)
  • A tour of the Parlement of Brittany building (booking required),
  • A circuit around the Metropolitan district,
  • Day or half-day trips, etc.

Full price: €7,20. Concessions (unemployed, disabled people, children from 7 to 18, students): €4,60. Free for under 7s. Rates for excursions vary.

By bike

Vélo à la carte
By using - for some hours or for a week - a "vélo STAR". The loan is paying beyond the thirty of use. Detail of prices:  from 30 mn to 1 hour : € 1 / from 1 to 2 hours : € 2 / from 2 to 3 hours: € 3 / from 3 to 6 hours : € 10 / from 6 to 10 hours : € 24 / from 10 to 24 hours : € 48. 
Look out! Even in case of an occasional use, you have to subscribe to the system: 1 € for 24 hours and 5€ for 7 days.
