Roadside parking
The City of Rennes has 2 types of parking area: red (short-stay parking) and green (residents’ parking).
Hourly rates are as follows:
green zone: €1/h for up to 2 hours 46 mins;
red zone: €1.71/h for up to 1 hour 33 mins.
The car park is paying from 9 am till 12 am and 2pm till 7pm. Free access every Sundays and bank holidays.

Camper van Points
Area outside the Gayeulles campsite (direction Fougères): drinking water, waste disposal, power points, car pak.
Carrefour Cesson-Sévigné supermarket petrol station (direction Paris): drinking water, waste disposal, car park.
Note
The park and ride car parks allow you to park your car and travel to the city centre by metro.
Park and ride car parks are only available to users of the STAR Bus + Metro network.
They are open during the operating hours of the metro, from 5am to 1am, Monday to Saturday, and closed on Sundays. Parking is free.
To exit the car park, you will need a valid STAR ticket (current season ticket or ticket stamped in a station other than the one you are leaving).
Park and ride car parks can be used for one day only. You may not leave your vehicle parked there over night (penalty of fine).

River ports
On the River Vilaine: Quai Saint-Cy (Direction Saint-Brieuc).
On the Ille et Rance canal: Quai d'Ille-et-Rance; Quai Saint-Cast; Quai Saint-Martin, opposite the youth hostel on the other bank (direction Saint-Malo).
