Visiting Rennes and its Metropolitan district

Architecture, museums, parks, gardens, shows, exhibitions… Rennes is home to a major share of the Metropolitan district’s heritage, but the surrounding towns and villages are also full of potential and are just waiting to be discovered.

Tours

The “Metropolitan district of art and history” department offers tours of the Metropolitan district’s towns and villages, once a month on average. These events are set out in a quarterly calendar which includes all the visits and tours organised by the Tourist Information Centre.

    5 walking guides Un des 5 guides promenadeshave been produced by the Metropolitan district of Rennes, in partnership with the Tourist Information Centre, the Audiar Town Planning Agency and the towns and villages, to introduce you to the interesting urban and architectural landmarks – housing, facilities and public projects, etc. – of the towns and villages in the Rennes urban area. 

    These free guides are available at the reception desk.
