Everything you ever wanted to know about “celtitude”!
With its new temporary exhibition entitled “Celtique ?”, the Musée de Bretagne examines our “celtitude” and compares its accompanying myths, legends and tales with historical and archaeological knowledge.
The exhibition is a fascinating journey into the heart of Breton identity and Celtic heritage. Triskelions, druids, forests teeming with legends, Celtic dancing and music… Today, Brittany is often associated – confused, even – with a whole imaginary Celtic world.
Yet what links does Brittany actually have with the Celts? Why is Brittany the French region that embodies Celtic culture the most?
