Visit Rennes on the garden side: the Thabor, the “prince of gardens” is one of the most beautiful parks in France, with its rose garden with 2,000 varieties, its French gardens, its bandstand, its remarkable trees and its park English, it is a concentrate of the art of the garden which spans 10 hectares. Other parks worth seeing in Rennes: the huge 100-hectare Gayeulles park with farm animals, a tree-climbing course, ponds and trails for walking, a pleasant terrace for eating or relaxing, sports equipment such as the ice rink or the swimming pool.
