The Pôle Sud is 4 cultural entities within the same structure: the media library, the artistic practice workshops, the photo gallery “Le Carré d’Art” and the theatre.
For 30 years, the Pôle Sud has been offering a multidisciplinary programme ranging from music to dance to comedy, including theatre. Theatre in all its forms, with numerous proposals for young audiences. The Pôle Sud has a strong musical imprint, giving pride of place to French song and world music.
It also has long-standing partnerships with the major cultural players in Rennes, such as the Grand Soufflet, Marmaille, Travelling and Mythos.
- Opening hours: Tuesday and Friday from 2pm to 6:30pm | Wednesday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 6:30pm | Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 5pm | Closed on Saturdays in July and August.
